⚙️ PHASE 2: COACHING SKILL (DO IT)
Learn how to guide real transformation in others
In this phase, you’ll step into the role of a coach and learn how to lead others through meaningful, faith-based transformation using the G.R.O.W.T.H. framework. You’ll gain a clear understanding of what coaching truly is—and how it differs from teaching, mentoring, or advising—while developing the practical skills needed to guide powerful conversations. From asking the right questions to actively listening with discernment, you’ll learn how to help people uncover what’s really holding them back and move forward with clarity and confidence.
This course goes beyond surface-level communication and equips you with structured coaching methods, session frameworks, and breakthrough techniques you can apply immediately. You’ll learn how to challenge limiting beliefs, guide clients into disciplined action, and navigate resistance with wisdom and grace. By the end of this phase, you won’t just understand coaching—you’ll be able to confidently lead structured, impactful sessions that create real, measurable change in people’s lives.
Course Material Pack Description
Each phase includes a complete set of learning, teaching, assessment, and marking resources designed to support both independent learners and facilitators. Together, these four PDF elements create a structured course experience that moves participants from study, to reflection, to practical application, to final assessment.
1. Course Book
The Course Book is the main learning resource for the phase. It contains the full course content, module descriptions, learning outcomes, biblical teaching, practical explanations, reflection questions, coaching applications, and action steps. It is designed to help the learner understand the key principles of the phase in depth and apply them to real life, leadership, coaching, ministry, or personal growth.
2. Course Compass
The Course Compass is the learning and facilitation guide for the phase. It helps learners, teachers, coaches, or group leaders move through the material with structure and intention. It includes the course overview, suggested study formats, recommended rhythms for each module, module-by-module guidance, discussion questions, practical exercises, and integration prompts. This resource is especially useful for self-study, group facilitation, coaching sessions, or teaching the course in a structured way.
3. Final Assessment
The Final Assessment is designed to help participants demonstrate their understanding and application of the phase content. It usually includes knowledge-based questions, biblical reflection, case study application, personal integration questions, and a practical action plan. The assessment is intended to measure more than information retention; it evaluates whether the learner can apply the principles personally and practically.
4. Marking Guide
The Marking Guide gives assessors a clear framework for evaluating participant submissions fairly and consistently. It includes marking notes, assessment criteria, scoring bands, rubric descriptions, and an optional assessor feedback template. This guide helps markers look for biblical understanding, practical application, coaching insight, honest reflection, and realistic action planning. It also provides grading bands such as Distinction, Competent Pass, Pass, and Not Yet Competent.
